på Japan Fender og Squire må hullene i plekterbrettet typisk utvides til 10mm for å passe USA typen pga tykkelsen på bøssingene og potmeterskaftene.Du bør også skaffe deg ratt med US spec (24 tenner) for optimal passform på split shaft potmeterene. ObsidianWire leveres med ferdiginstallert Custom Spec Treble Bleed Mod. Dette forhindrer at du mister topp når volumet på gitaren dempes.

- Auto switch between 500k & 250k tone and volume controls
- 500k For the Humbuckers (Full Output & Clarity)
- 250k for the Single Coil (Traditional Strat Tone)
- Auto Split Humbuckers in Positions 2 + 4 (Perfect Strat Quack)

Furthermore, when you move your switch into the mixed pickup positions the humbucker coils split (requires four conductor humbuckers), with one of them pairing up with the middle pickup for traditional Strat tone.
