The new Obsidian® Custom 7 Way wiring harness for Stratocaster® has had a complete over hall, to make the super versatile 7 Way wiring mod even better. The new upgraded harness retains the '7-way' switching inspired by David Gilmour, but improves the tone control layout, smooths out the tone and volume control responses, and gives you two volume control 'voices' so you can get your guitar setup exactly how you like it.
The sweetest bell like Strat® tone. Play your neck and bridge pickups together for the sweetest bell like tones, or even all three pickups together. The switch is built in to your tone control by use of a push/pull pot, so no extra mods are required to your guitar.
Shape your volume control to your playing style. Match the function of your volume control to your playing style, with a 'Clear' mode and a 'Balanced' mode.
'CLEAR' MODE - Crystal clear tone at any volume level
'BALANCED' MODE - Roll off some highs with the volume control for a smooth transition between clean and crunch
Tone & volume controls that make sense. We have assigned 'Tone control 1' to the neck and middle pickups, leaving 'Tone control 2' as a dedicated bridge pickup tone control, for balancing the brighter treble in switch positions 1 & 2.
